My mom received one of these scam letters in the nursing home. After blaming TV preachers for selling her info, I take that back.

She buy a lot of herbal 'cures' and I am 99.9% sure that THAT is how she got put on the sucker list.

This guy has a bunch of bs books...the keep wanting money for more and more. Here is ALL you need to know - steer clear, people: There IS no 'secret'

Interesting Scam

Just the other day I got a letter in the mail “invitation” to join the Society. Only the rich and famous are apart of it.

They are asking me to respond by mailing in my request to get my book, free of charge to be in on the secrets. I have only until Sept 20, 2019 to respond, if not, they will never present me with another opportunity to join. I am not to tell a soul about the letter of the society. Apparently, his name is Tom?

I’m so tired of being sought out to be scam! I still would like to know how my information got in the hands of these people...the society I mean. Can anyone do anything about this? This is just as bad as the email scam of someone claiming that they have a long lost relative who happens to leave a large sum money, but they can’t get it and need your help in picking up or sending a wire transfer to a special account.

Blah blah blahJust why?! Why aren’t these people being stopped?!

PLEASE don't send them money - they can get your bank account number for your check, and then you are in REAL trouble! I suppose this has been resolved by now, either for better or worse.

I guess I was put on the scam list too, lol , I'm not fooled that easily though,,

Facepalm I received the same letter today,, actually did some research on it,, years back they wanted the "invitation" letter mailed to Dallas Texas,, well, I found out through my research that it was mailed from Dallas Texas (zip code mailed from) then they mailed it to me in Alabama,, and wanted me to mail it to Utah, I looked up the address in Utah,, it's not a business or anything like that,, it's a post office,, There has even been a news report done on it,, I saw that on youtube,, I don't know how long your letter was but mine was 12 pages front and back,, and if I had been so gullible to fall into this scam,,, they shot themselves in the foot,, lol,, they said to mail it no later than the 14th which was yesterday,, SMH Facepalm

I Never believe the IMPOSSIBLE.

I GET SO MUCH JUNK IN THE MAIL THESE DAYS IT IS MIND BOGGLING. I purposely wrote the first sentence in capitalization to sort of enhance this communication.

How can this Society do me any good when I am aware that it is not really a secret that they have sent the request to join up? Apparently thousands of these are being sent out.

So personally I share this as many of us do. I say to them, "GO AWAY." When a very young lad I never really believed in the TOOTH FAIRY either.

Secret society letter is dangerous!

This letter arrived today. It says it’s mailed foreign air mail butbif you look at the postal stamped it showed the zip code for Dallas,Texas! (75238) It is a 20 page form letter with my hubby’s name and address on it (yes, we are young seniors!) The letter promises wealth and power and everything “Tom” (who isn't allowed to reveal his name) claims to possess.

The desire for wealth and power is a power incentive. Especially for people who are living within modest means. But these things are not necessary for happiness and contentment.

The entire letter is offering what only the devil would want you to have. If I’m going to get rich, it’s not going to be by joining a “secret society”. Wealth comes from God when He knows we need it for helping others. We are not to strive or seek after great wealth!

Shred this 10 page letter and do not answer it. Further correspondence will mean they will eventually require your financial information.

Guard your possessions! Hold fast to what wealth you have. Do not “throw your pearls before swine” as Jesus warned. Money you have saved it precious. This secret society will only take what’s yours and get richer!

If it’s “too good to be true, it probably is!” Shred this letter before throwing it in the trash to protect your identity.

Domestic First Class Foreign Airmail

Well I too received this mysterious letter. My husband was very curious and wanted me to hurry and read it.

We had just recently just been scammed for 31,100. dollars and couldn't wait to see who was trying to yet get more money from us. At once I knew it was nothing but a scam with all that gobbledygook. I am a country girls and I know nothing about big business they were talking about.

I am married to the love of my life for 61 years and have no desire to get hooked up with a bunch of no good thugs.

They are really after us old folks. I just hope most of them just laugh at the stuff like I did and look it up on the computer and know it is trash and treat it as such.

I don't know what to do about this but saw where I could reply to someone and just let them know I had got the famous letter too.

We need to stop these low lives... I looked them up also.

They have all their mail sent to that #70629 on the Utah enclosed envelope. Those thugs want us to think they are local... It is the zip code where they are scamming people... when someone gets something in the mail look-up the zip code @ World Postal Code.com I found those thieves there.

Good Luck... If it feels like a Scam, It Is...……….

Predatory scamming

This is ridiculous that they are targeting the elderly & mentally challenged. Charging them for entry into some supposed 'secret society' which gives them access to trade secrets by leading them to believe they were selected because they 'possess rare talents and enormous potential of the magnitude of other leading members in this secret society' ( undoubtedly we all do).

Yet there is no fee to utilize these skills as they are endowed by a higher power. They also require them to keep the information from their family or anyone else (sounds like the characteristics of an abuser). You are a 'chosen one' they say, they should say 'targeted one' or maybe 'prey'. They claim to hold you in the highest regard for $240.

to start with & will send you over 1,000 pages of trade secrets. whos gonna read all that crap! Beware Elders, & those challenged mentally.

Its a SCAM! SCAM!

Received Letter from The Secret Society

Try to call them and get a recording of busy helping others. The letter I received and booklets makes this a hard to believe scam.

139.95. I read this waste of time booklet about people raving about all the money and love life improves, blah blah. I have a hard time believing this. it is a Utah address and I need concrete proof, I got tired of reading about people and all the money that flowed to them.

I would like to see and experience these people live and in person. My thought if it is to good to be true, and secret is being given to me as I am special, show up at my door and give me manuscript and I will pay$139.95 when I see it happen. My belief is good work ethics and solid investments is the way to go. economics "there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

" I have met many scammers and this one is hiding behind a letter with a possible fake address. stupid is as stupid does. I need to meet this scammer in person. the booklets were boring and unbelievable.

I was specifically chosen yuck.

Good to see sites like this and know that I was smart enough to not spend the money. I feel sorry for people that got taken by this scam.

Boilerplate Letter

It was very obvious that this was a form letter that strategically located my name several times. I did read the entire letter but only because I enjoy a good work of fiction now and then.

I am sure that some folks will fall for this hokum I hope they continue to contact me so that I will be an expense to them and not the other way around.

If this "Society" is so secret why is it so easy to find on the internet? If you have been the recipient of this "Secret Invitation" from this Society that has been watching you, Pitch the letter and go on about your normal life, as nothing beneficial will come to you from this fantasy except an expensive education on the con.

Targeting the elderly, mentally challenged and suffering.

This is a nuclear disgrace. I’ve been working with the elderly for years.

In the past three, I’ve had four patients’ lives literally stollen. One has spent every cent he had left on volume after volume of “secrets” written in code by the way. Then another payment for the book on how to “decode” the one before. One wonderful man feeling a financial burden to his family was placed in a Nursing home, as these continual “first class letters” promising money, power and financial windfalls were so believable to him that his family thought him “crazy”.

This has to STOP!!! I’m going to see a patient today who has paid over $1800 thus far and got another”personalized letter” from the one and only Mark Hamilton yesterday. For $139.00 MORE he will have access to the secret meetings in hidden caves with world leaders.

I will spend ten hours trying to convince him again, without threatening his aged psyche that this isn’t real. DO SOMETHING!!!

Just another of so many Letters from The League!

I like so many others have received the same Letter with Promise of So many Good Things. You know it makes me feel like a Fool to even consider that it could be True!

I am thankful for all you other Folks out there to have the common sense to open up and Share. You know we all know no one gives you anything that does not have strings that can do so much damage. These are heartless people that prey on others and would take food out of a Babies' mouth for profit. They are disgusting lowlifes.

I am from Ohio and if anyone has an address or number where I can report this please Post.... Thank You!
