Secret Society

I received the same letters as all the others and am very discussed for the thought of people preying on helpless people to scam them out of money. My gut told me to google these fools...and if it was so secretive we wouldnt be able to locate things like this on google.

This only confirmed the fact of me throwing this in the garage asap. The first letter was just to see if I would *** the bait and I did only because it was free. After that, they sent another long letter with a booklet of so called reviews from other members and want you to pay $100 for the booklet by the deadline. If not by the deadline then you would not be contacted so they say.

Two weeks later here is another letter stating this is my last chance to join the society by paying $139.95 for the book of secrets to pass down through my family generation. Then I googled....and here we are...

Sirly 20th I have received the same letter on July 13. it also gave a great build up.

In the letter it stated that I had to respond by July 20th. I am waiting to see if I receive another one.

As a retired paralegal I am suspicious of these letters I wish there was some way to lock these A-------H up. Thanks for your comment

I was told in a letter by the secret society that I had so many days to get back to them or I would be disqualified and never hear from them again. Well I did nothing, and guess what? They sent me another letter after saying I would never hear from them again because they want my money.

The League Secret Society

Just got this in Tucson today. Same as all the others, full of the ego building garbage, claiming to have been watching me for a while now and they probably know more about me than I do.

Just wanted to do a quick shout out that it's going around again. It looks like a new variant or at least a new name is used each time. Mine was from Tom. Couldn't tell me his whole name on "advice from counsel".

Really?

Anyway, sending copies of it to the state attorney general and to the state and city postmasters. Scamming the post office and getting a discounted rate to mail a scam is a violation of law is it not?

Secrest Society Scam - Kirsen Hart invitation for $135

The Secret Society (same come on as the Neo Tech) sends an invitation for a free report to reveal 2300 hundred year old secrets is sent.

The initial letter is very flatering and makes you curious since they are going to send this to you free.

Then the free report arrives and bingo...says to send $135 to obtain the "de-coded" secrets.

They swear on the Bible .....that should have stoped me right there!!! But, I believe God must have wanted me to write this for someone to save their money and time on the Secret Society and Kirsten Hart...possibly their soul as well!!!!

Thank you God for giving me the brains to check this out and not ever swear on the Bible.

Itoo got a letter from these scammers!!!, I did answer the 1st one for the "free " booklet. Then looked them up on line just in time to not let them *** money away from me !!, It sounded so good, and I was desperate , but also knew deep down that this could not be possible to "get it all in life" for $135.00 !!

Glad I found this info!! Thank You.

I received the invitation to join the Society several weeks ago. When you read it you can't help but feel somewhat flattered.

However, I'm a believer nothing in life is free. The letter also said this was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I have now received twice in my life.

I just received my letter as well. I just tore it up after reading that I will be rich and I would be able to Control the world and have powers to make the man I love to love me back.

Being a Christian I laughed at that. It goes totally against the word of God. I said rich or poor , if God wants to bless me with money he will. No secret society will do that for me.

If you get a letter from them tear it up. Itโ€™s not worth you energy .

I figured immediately after getting my invite yesterday to THE SOCIETY that this was a scam. I hardly looked at it.

Thought I would google for any information, and bingo! Feel sorry for any people who fall for this bull.

I just received a letter to join the Society. My daughter was reading it.

When she got to the part about control people and all that junk, I tore it up and put holy oil on it and rebuked it. Was way too *** No way!

Guest

I packed the return envelope with all the junk mail I could jam in and sent it back with a 1-cent stamp on it. They'll have to pay 'Postage Due'. Bwa ha ha ha!

It also says that if I don't respond now I will never hear from them again. And it's a "once in a lifetime" opportunity. But this is the second time I've received a letter from them.

Scam that preys on people looking for a better life!

This so call secret society (The League), is making money with people who are vulnerable and get them to send the $139.95 to them for their so call book full of secrets. My gut feeling was telling me this has scam written all over it, and I feel so much better that I didn't order their book of secrets. Let's say 100 people respond to their mass mailing and they pay their $139.95, and it cost them pennies to get the letters and books printed, they make $13,995 minus printed material they are profiting at least $10,000 every time 100 people pay to buy their book of secrets. Imagine if they get up to 1000 people, that's some chunk of profit. Do the math people! I am a 63 year old woman who read their long letter, responded since what they were going to send was free, and at that point like it said in the letter I had nothing to lose. So I responded. So the next step is them pitching their book of secrets for only $139.95. From now on if I ever get a letter like this it's going straight into the garbage can. The real issue with this is that these people who are running this scam, get your name obviously from some kind of mailing list, or they bought my name an address from someone I do business with. Disgusted with scams like this one that prey on people, who want a better life.

My friend Frances just called me to discuss receiving one of these Scammy Letters from the Secret League. It amazes me that there are still people out there, apparently all across the country, who are so emotionally and spiritually low that they cannot see this Scam for what it really is.

If you want to get the most out of life, don't send your money to strangers. Go to church. Read your Bible. Have faith in your friends and family.

Get a job. This is a tacky thing to do to people who cannot make good decisions on their own. It's like that funky "This is the IRS and you will be arrested if you don't give us your money today" on the phone line folks. HA!

People. Get real.

I guess it is a good thing that some of us used some of our special talents to research about these folks ! My going into phase two or whatever is probably something they don't want to see because it is probably the phase where I hunt these blood thirsty scammers down and explain to them in my own way that you don't go around hurting peoole ! Thanks to all of you and am sorry some lost your money ! Prayer is still stronger than any 2300 year old secret ! Who was around 2300 years ago that could do anything but "grunt" much less say words !! qzhybrbq

Thanks to those of you who posted complaints I did not fall victim to these thieves.

After receiving the initial letter I faxed my form ( from staples at a loss of 1.90) to receive the "orientation" booklet. In my opinion this scam not only has the potential to take people's money it seems as though they play on people's emotions to the point of a possible total breakdown. Although I took this as a scam from the beginning,I guess I needed to see that "we accept check,M/C,Visa" whatever to be truly convinced it was a scam. I can only imagine if you had even one of the several terrible scenarios they talk about, pay my money only to be let down knowing I just lost 135 dollars my cheating girlfriend ect. These people could literally do far more than monetary damages. Ultimately everyone likes to think they are special and things of that nature. IF your trying to take my money come up with something that doesn't bankrupt me emotionally also. Thank you to all who posted their complaints. Thanks to technology and others who are concerned nobody has to fall for this kind of ***. P.s as far as seeing the future, it would of been my hands around their necks had I fell for this garbage.

I sent the letter back to them saying first of all buy telling tom in the case that I loved him, then I asked him if he was saved(THEY TALK ABOUT GOD A BIT WHEN THEY ARE ASKING FOR MONEY) I ask Tom to believe in his heart that Jesus would save him from his sins, then start going to a bible preaching/teaching church and get baptized and anyone else that needs redemption. Solicitation for money based on my being a special person

These people have solicited me by mail on several occasions. They want to sell me a book of supposed secrets that will make me wealthy.I understand that I have the choice not to respond to this solicitation, but there are those people who,for various reasons, will respond to this fraudulent offer.therefore I feel that I must file this complaint and ask your office to investigate these people and,at best, prosecute them for consumer fraud,or at least shut them down. This is,in my opinion,a total fraud, preying upon certain individuals who,in this tough economy, may be desperate enough to fall for these false promises of instant wealth.

I ignored the first letter; threw it away. Then the second letter came snd described how great I was and I couldn't find fault with that; but instead of sending money to strangers for telling me how great I am; I came here instead.

Think I'll keep the letter and frame it so my wife will remember how great I am without me or my mother-in-law telling her.

Although my mom-in-law tells her on regular basis just so she won't forget; I bet noone else loves their mom-in-law as much as I do!!!!! James Randolph in kansas.

I have been thinking about this since thanksgiving..I'm going to throw it away after reviewing everyones thoughts... My favorite is the passage that in the actual book everyone gets the book for free..

lol sometimes I can b a real sucker.. :roll

Guest

I have to admit the writers are good they get you thinking and believing in the letter and the book,(five amazing stories) they say that you only get one chance to send the $139.00 and then you get another letter telling you that they are going to give you an extra week to send in your money. This is just to good to be true, for free??

They get you going and then you wake up and smell somthing. So i got on the internet and look what I found, they had us going didn't they makes you wonder just how many people realy sent them money...

Guest

I too received this *** but didn't send in the money and they sent me another letter saying they were disappointed and basically giving me another chance to send them the discounted price of 139.95 by Friday. What's up with these people?

We are in a recession and trying not to go broke buying gas for our cars and they want 140.00!

If that's the case give me 100.00 and I'll tell u you are beautiful and talented allday! #getarealjob

Guest

What I found most interesting in ths fable book was how each person's story told of the book being giving to them not them having to pay for it.

Guest

The price has gone up to $200. I know I have special gifts and every person does and no one on the earth can give you magic you need to make the make the 'magic' for yourself. Has anyone received the so-called book yet :grin

Guest

The first letter was interesting, because you could get the secrets for free. The next was peoples testimonials.

The third letter wanted 139.95 by Friday. You can kiss my behind!!

You scammers are not going to get my 139.95. I think these scamming people should be put in jail!!!
